These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Round Buddy (“Round Buddy”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including the web application available at https://app.roundbuddygolf.com and related services (“Services”).
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of the Service
Round Buddy is a digital golf score tracking and analytics tool that allows users to record scores, monitor performance, and receive AI-generated insights.
Round Buddy is provided for informational and recreational purposes only.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it.
3. Subscription, Billing and Free Trial
- Round Buddy is offered on a subscription basis (monthly or yearly).
- A 7-day free trial is provided.
- You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. User Data and Content
You retain ownership of all data you input, including scores and playing history.
You grant us a licence to use this data to operate and improve the Services.
We may limit storage of historical scorecards (e.g. last 10 rounds), while retaining aggregated statistics.
5. Accuracy Disclaimer
Round Buddy does not guarantee the accuracy of: – score calculations; – statistics or performance summaries; – course data or imported scorecards.
The Services are not suitable for official handicap tracking or competition use.
You are responsible for verifying all results.
6. AI Insights Disclaimer
Round Buddy provides AI-generated insights and recommendations (“AI Insights”).
These: – are general in nature; – are based only on user-provided data; – do not consider your full skill level or physical condition.
AI Insights: – are not professional coaching advice; – do not replace a qualified golf instructor; – should not be relied upon for training decisions.
We do not guarantee performance improvement.
7. Health and Injury Disclaimer
Round Buddy does not provide physical training or swing instruction.
Any changes to your golfing technique or practice are undertaken at your own risk. You should consult a qualified professional before making significant changes.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not: – misuse the platform; – input false or misleading data; – attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the Services.
9. Third-Party Content
Users may upload or create course data. We do not guarantee its accuracy.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: – we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; – we are not liable for performance outcomes or injury; – liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 12 months.
Nothing excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.
13. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
